Last night was indeed a humbling experience. Everything is still totally surreal for me. fuhreals. J
So this blog serves as my more sane way of thanking people. I apologize that my awkward and slurry thank you speech last night at the stage was kind of a blur. Someone even asked me if I spoke in my native language. Haha. I apologize folks. I was stunned. It was indeed a surprise.
Ok, so here it goes (clears throat):
I share this award with Chase Green, the talented actor/writer/model/youtube comedian/ friend who have always believed in me and supported me in most of my projects. Hey mister, you’re awesome and you will always be so thank you very much.
This award also goes to my talented fellow nominees- Mark and Steph of photo-grafika.com, Joe of fotosiamo.com, Michael Ares of michaelares.com and Tara Minshull or taraminshull.com. All of you guys rock. Congratulations. I am honored to be a part of this nomination with you all. Also more honored because I was able to work with most of you. Yay! Highfive guys! Let’s have coffee or whatever soon.
Huge thanks to the RAWartist Los Angeles City Directors team, and organizers. Byron, Shea, Roxy, thanks guys. It was an amazing show last night. You RAWked it. J Also, I miss seeing your beautiful faces. Thank you.
To the judges and to all those who came and voted, thank you so much!
Lastly, this is also for all of you who have worked and collaborated with me since I started this journey (hairstylist, make-up artists, designers, stylists, set and props, fellow photographers, actors, models, agents, talent managers, you know who you are) thank you. I mean it, a huge thanks to all of you!
I will never move forward with this endeavor, with this journey, with this dream without your help along the way.
This art and the whole production is a collective process that will never be successful if not for your dedication, effort, and innate talents. I am deeply grateful to you for sharing your time with me.
Cheers! Here’s to you and for more projects and collabs to come!
